We glued little welcome flags to glass Coke bottles at the reception and at the tables we had little bunny brooches that we had cut from perspex. We pinned the bunnies to personalized name cards at the tables. We found an old tree, which my brother painted white. We stuck it in a old wine barrel and let the table settings hang from it with ribbons. Thank you to black cocktail dresses for sharing this quaint wedding with us. I really like that even though this wedding is vintage and classy, it still has a South African feel to it. Must be the? stoep and the Kudu horns! De Wet and Jon t got married in Lydenburg Mpumalanga, but the farmhouse and the landscape somehow reminds me of the Karoo. The, where the wedding was held is such a great venue, because it doesn t look anything like a traditional wedding venue. I initially thought they got married on a family farm. Nevertheless, in true farm style, everyone lent designer wedding dresses a helping hand. Jon t s mom was in charge of the beautiful flower arrangements and decor and leather corset she also helped out with the catering. They even made the home-made shade-covering as Jon t calls it, for the ceremony. Jon t s best friend also helped with many of the DIY projects, and her aunt made her wedding dress. What a talented family!? De Wet and Jon t met while they were both working in England. They were introduced to each the celebrity dresses other when a mutual friend invited them to watch a rugby test between the Springboks and England, in a local pub. This was quite out of character for Jon t, as she is not a big rugby fan. After the game everyone went out for pizza and Jon t and De Wet ended up talking for hours. That night Jon t could barely sleep, thinking about the attractive, intriguing man she just met and all the things they had in common. On that Sunday she went to church, and guess who was the drummer? Yes, it was De Wet! Needless to say she couldn t really concentrate on the service. Shortly after they met De Wet came back to South Africa and Namibia for a two month holiday, but the two kept in contact and got to know each other quite well. He returned to England where he was to stay for the next three years, while Jon t planned to come home in October. They decided to take their relationship serious and commit, rather than doing it half-heartedly. On their return De Wet surprised Jon t with tickets to prom dresses ball gowns see her favourite singer Diana Krall in the majestic Royal Albert Hall. After the amazing show they went right to the top of the building to take in the atmosphere. He then started to read her wedding dresses with sleeves a unique prom dresses poem, and went down on one knee De Wet gave Jon t the most beautiful, vintage 1910 ring with 18 diamonds and a blue sapphire, symbolising the Grace of God over their lives. What was the most memorable part of your wedding day? Definitely walking down the isle under our home-made shade-covering with my dad, seeing De Wet waiting for me and all our loved ones smiling and crying. Is there anything you would have maid cosplay done differently? Any regrets about the day? I would have wanted my mom to do less so that she could also enjoy the day.

Dawid told me we would be married the day we started dating. We had a long distance 1 year and a half and got married the December, two years after we started dating. In July, before we married, Dawid welcomed me back after a holiday with my sister, with a sincere picnic in a vineyard on a friends farm. We had time to chat and as it was getting late I was blindfolded to a second mysterious date. We headed to the forest, where a fire, a couch and supper was already waiting. We spent some time and Dawid continued the night with a third surprise. We packed up celebrity dresses cheap and left for home, with me blindfolded, I was taken home to my room filled with 500 helium balloons! I found Dawid inside the balloons where he proposed! We celebrated afterward with some friends and champagne! Please share the planning and the preparation with as many friends and family as you can! People love being involved in such a personal day and its a great blessing to have all the helping hands! I would also recommend having a videographer of any sort, we love watching our wedding video. Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently? Looking back I would definitely have wanted to start off the day much earlier to stretch out the day. It went by in a flash! Did anything unexpected happen? Yes! My very unpredictable and fun fiance had arranged real bunnies to entertain the guests as a surprise and at the reception all the tea length mother of the bride dresses men jumped up and started singing a rehearsed song with Dawid to end off his speech. It was great. Where did you get most of your ideas and inspiration from? I found most of my formal dresses inspiration by browsing on blogs, such as Style Me Pretty and The Pretty Blog, in magazines, and browsing shop windows. I also found many things at Kamers Vol Geskenke, which has many ideas to work with. What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome while organising your dream wedding? The cheap bridesmaid dresses biggest obstacle was setting up the guest list. We would have loved to invite everyone! It worked out perfectly in the end! Just choose one and move on! prom dresses under $100 It seems like sexy dresses brides tend to change their minds quite often! It saves a lot of time to tick something of on your list and move on to the next thing. Any hints for other brides on how to keep your wedding budget friendly? To keep our wedding budget friendly, we chose friends and family to help out with the special day. To cut costs we did our own stationery. My mother and some friends helped to do the flowers and set the tables the day before. Most of the flowers were Garden Roses that my mother had picked during the week. We had no venue costs, which was a great way to save costs although we had to hire in strapless prom dresses all the decor. It was very personal to have it at home. Many off the vendors were friends or family, which mostly had rates to accommodate friends. Did your wedding preparations include any projects? We had quite a few projects which included the whole family.

It was amazing as all the ladies did this. I am blessed with 2013 quinceanera dresses great friends. Did your wedding preparations include any DIY projects? Yes, everything at our wedding was DIY. I did all the stationary and designs that went into the frames myself. Framed everything. We did the lights and flowers. We just wanted everything we liked at our wedding. We kind of wanted everybody to feel like they were at our house, like it was a big wedding festivity at home. A laid back and relaxed feeling. And it did feel that way. The venue probably contributed to this to a large extent, it is gorgeous and the owners at of the venue, Liz and Mike, went out of their way to make us feel at home and welcome (we also stayed on the farm). They were fantastic. We also chose our menu to contribute to this. We chose simple and super tasty dishes, which arrived in platters on the tables. Everyone had to dish up for themselves, like a huge family get together. We plus size dresses for a wedding met while I was in Ireland on a working holiday. David was living with a South African guy that I was introduced to through family friends. This South African friend couture wedding dresses offered me a place to stay until I found my feet. This is where I first met David. So how did he pop the question? It was the long weekend in December. I was at the airport in the morning and while I was away he decorated the porch and got snack and champagne. When I walked in, music was playing and he was all dressed up. That is when I started suspecting for the first time what was about to happen. He went down on one knee, asked me and that was it. We stayed in a hotel close by that night and went away for the weekend. What was the highlight of your wedding day? Our best moment was when I was walking down the aisle and we saw each other for the first time. But there were so many amazing moments like the speeches, the dancing, just being married, having quiet time during the photo session, etc. Any advice for brides-to-be? Excel spread sheets modest wedding dresses are your new best friend. Any hints for other brides on how to keep your wedding budget friendly? My sister drew our save the date invite. But our whole family was really supportive and helped with things where necessary. There was a travel theme because we were going on a four month honeymoon. Venue: On this beautiful Spring day, we bring you the delightful wedding of Dawid and Franchette. The two said their vows at the bride s parents home in Stellenbosch. The guests feasted cheap evening dresses outside on the most delicious cheeses, preserves and breads prepared by Anita from. The long tables looked inviting and echoed the bride s love for beautiful things. I love our story. We met on a outreach and fell in love with each other.
